Kettle - Why The Kettle Have Plastic Smell?

It is normal for the kettle to have plastic smell for the first few uses. The smell is due to the protective layer of oil on the motor.

To remove the smell, please cut a lemon into slices, add water to the kettle and boil the water as per normal.
